Whose Theatre Is It?

'How do we place the authentic voice of young people at the heart of our organisations?' The fact that I am writing this, no longer young, goes to the heart of some of the contradictions that artists, companies, funders and policy makers ¬ some young, some less so, shared at the ‘Whose Theatre Is It?’ Symposium at the New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich.

We wanted to raise three conversations, to stimulate and question but also to pass around some very useful and practical stuff:

‘Engaging with young people: what works and what doesn’t?’ provided a set of top tips.

‘How can we utilise social networking - www 2.0 thinking and technology?’ asked us to be clear about our objectives in working with young people, and to work with the technology that they use. Continues>
