Watford Palace Theatre

Watford Palace Theatre is looking at new ways to combine the Arts and Sport. As one of Watford’s main cultural centres and with London 2012 looming, Kirsten Hutton, Head of Learning and Participation, describes the working partnership with another of the town’s cultural icons – Watford Football Club, to create a project that celebrates both the arts and sport.

We already run two youth theatres, our Palace Youth Theatre that offers weekly sessions in different aspects of theatre, and Hertfordshire County Youth Theatre that runs twice a year to mount large scale productions of professional standards. Article Continues>
