UNIVERSITY OF HERTFORDSHIRE WRITING AWARD

We are delighted to announce that Kirsten Macfarlane is the winner of the 2008 University of Hertfordshire Writing Award. Kirsten was selected by our panel of judges for her script The Strange Case of Mrs Epcoth.

The Writing Award was open to 14-19 year olds living in the East of England. From all the entrants 20 aspiring writers worked with professional theatre practitioners to develop their scripts. From that 20, 4 highly talented writers had their scripts performed on stage with professional actors.
