What lies ahead of the second year of ‘It’s our theatre: Thurrock’? We can't wait!. We are offering young people the chance to get involved in great activities that will allow them to work towards performing arts awards, Creative and Media Diplomas not to mention a whole lot of hip hop activity! It's Our Theatre has taken Thurrock by storm; 2000 young people saw the IOT Roadshow, nearly half applied to attend the Workshops, 150 of whom were chosen. In our Slam Night 26 new acts premiered. This year will be even better!

As an outcome from the Slam Night we auditioned 60 young people aged 13 to 19, 19 of whom were chosen to become the 'Frontline Crew', young entrepreneurs, developing their own social enterprise, running workshops and developing a new theatre piece called 'Ten Years From Now'. Continues>
