THE JUBA FUSION

The historical Master Juba was the master of fusion, combining traditional African dance with Irish jig footwork and a whole lot of soul to create a phenomenon.

Following the success of our first production Master Juba, which charted the 18th century rise of the first ever black superstar and inventor of tap dance, THEATRE IS…presents the The Juba Fusion a multi disciplinary melting pot of all four elements of hip hop, live music and multi-media theatre!

Inspired by Master Juba's story and his fusion of styles, THEATRE IS… invited artists from every corner of the live performance spectrum to join The Juba Fusion.
