State of the Arts

 

The recent State of the Arts Conference drew attention to the importance of process. Targets come and go but process is key. How to create a cultural infrastructure to engage young people? At THEATRE IS… our process of engagement is hands-on. It’s Our Theatre sees us working in partnership Herfordshire County Council and local partners to build a sub-regional project that responds to t.he local.  By respecting local preferences and working selectively within this model we have found a way of successfully engaging young people in the arts across the East of England. Successful regional engagement can only grow.
