Praise at last year's in 2010 conference went to the successful creation of new DCSF Centres for Advanced Training for music and dance. Assis Carreiro, Artistic Director of Dance East commented such initiatives form ‘the golden seed that can make a difference’. By working from grass roots upwards the best of young regional talent can be nourished and new audiences created and engaged with. With a premise to go out and seek young talent such initiatives strike the same tune as  that practiced here at THEATRE  IS... with our it's our theatre programme.
