ONWARDS & UPWARDS

After being with the company since its inception Projects Producer Sally Abbott is leaving in December to concentrate on her writing and being a practitioner. Her TV series Cowboys and Indians, set in Luton, and co-written with actor Michael Begley and TV and Film-maker Jon Sen has just been commissioned by BBC. 

Sally said “working at THEATRE IS… has been a fantastic experience for me, especially to be involved in the company since its beginning. As a producer it is rare to get the chance to work on participatory projects and professional ones at the same time. The relationship between the two has been fascinating and constantly informative.   I’ve been lucky enough to meet and work with loads of brilliant people and am looking forward hugely to continuing to work with THEATRE IS… as a writer and practitioner.”
