As a ‘founding father’ of Contacting the World, Noel Greig guided this international creative exchange for young people through many phases. His passion for young people finding ways to come together and make live performance was immense.
Jonathan Meth - September 2009

"Walking into Contacting the World 2006, the atmosphere was electric. Over a hundred young people, from all corners of the world were whooping, dancing and singing together – and that was just in the first moments of meeting each other. The twinning process had allowed the participants to go on an amazing journey: befriending, being inspired by and understanding ‘strangers’. And in doing so, learning more about themselves."
Keith Saha - Co-Artistic Director, 20 Stories High, Liverpool documents Contacting The World and is a fitting testament to Noel’s own unique talent.

Taken from Young People, New Theatre: A Practical Guide to an Intercultural Process (Noel Greig, Routledge, 2008).

"Noel Greig was special because he not only wrote beautifully but he also generously gave away the secrets of his craft.”
