Our workshops then build on young people’s exposure to an eclectic mix of skills that takes in hip-hop, beat boxing and break-dance, rap and dance. It’s Our Theatre Hertfordshire project engages with not only the Hertfordshire council but six local districts, the arts council and youth connections. Our strategy of engagement with young people is reaping great rewards. It’s our theatre: Hertfordshire will culminate with the opportunity for young people to tour with their own production as part of Ten years from Now. The success we had with Ten Years From Now in Norfolk is now underway in Thurrock. Our Thurrock production of Ten Years From Now will be previewed on March 16^th 2010 at the Thameside Theatre. This hip hop theatre production will focuses on young people’s vision of their world in 2018.
