Gomito

At the end of every run I find myself sitting in an empty theatre, taking stock of what Gomito is up to. The Sun Dragon was the second part of a trilogy of plays for children aged 4+ which started with Little Red Things and will be completed by our next show The Night Keeper. But for Gomito 2009 is not as simple as that. We are redeveloping Before We Remember, our show for an older audience, starting weekly workshops at The Junction, creating two new Christmas shows, working on a children’s TV version of Little Red Things and starting a new touring show for 2010. 

I cannot escape it, somehow we have become a successful company. I’m appalled. What the hell are we going to do now? Programmers now trust us enough to programme our shows before they exist. However, we're entering ‘difficult second album’ territory and it’s a wee bit scary. Continues>
