'Working with young people has developed my creative practice as a theatre director beyond all recognition. I came into the region with a reputation for developing new writing and new writers. Now I am working with artists from circus, multi media and Hip Hop. I’d agree it’s a challenge and even risky, it’s certainly exciting and perhaps most importantly it’s integral.
