The experience I have gained from working on the now famous IOT Slam Nights has inspired me to stage my own in Bury St Edmunds…watch this space. Oh if you don’t know what a Slam Night is, well it’s like a cabaret and talent night but with professionals and locals all performing everything from dance to spoken word, playing guitar to beat box in front of an audience who are encouraged to video it on their phones; great fun and I hope to see them rolled out more around the region.

My experience with It's Our Theatre has been great fun and importantly developed me and my company. It’s Our Theatre is an important initiative enabling young people to create their own companies and staging their own cultural events. It needs to be happening throughout the region and the rest of the UK!
