Dani Parr
Dani Parr has been Associate Director at Royal & Derngate, Northampton for four years. She specialises in directing work for children and young people and managing and running creative projects with people of all ages. For Royal & Derngate she has directed Debbie Isitt's 101 Dalmatians; a new adaptation of Tim Bowler's novel, Starseeker; a large scale community play, Firebrand, a new play for teenagers called Natural Breaks and Rhythms and four multi sensory plays for early years: Where's the Bear?, What Makes us Tick?, Knitwits and Minibreak. She is also responsible for programming theatre for children and young people and for leading the arts team which consists of the youth theatre and all of the creative projects. Before arriving in Northampton she was Associate Director for 3 years at new writing company Pentabus and she has also worked as Education Associate at Birmingham Rep and has years of freelance experience in the West Midlands as a director and workshop leader.
